It has a deep rich reddish-brown color and due to its strength, it is considered one of the most outstanding wood-working materials in the world. (It is more expensive because it is grown in three distinct tropical locations and imported.) It’s available in a wide variety of profiles to suit any style and setting. A classic framing treatment would show a 2-inch white, cream or grey mat trim, and a gold filet to reflect the writing on the diploma.

We use only archival materials to protect your diploma, for example acid-free mats and UV protective glass to preserve your document and prevent it from fading over time. If you plan to hang your diploma in a place where there may be a reflection, choose Museum Glass, which has both UV protection and reflection control. If the diploma is going to be hung in a high traffic area, we also offer a line of the highest quality acrylic. The acrylic glazing produced these days is an absolutely beautiful product, where the only way to tell the difference is by knocking on it, literally.
