Call for Artists

Join FastFrame & The Westlake Gallery in showcasing your artistic talent! We’re on the lookout for local artists to feature their work in our Custom Art Framing shop. With rotating exhibitions every 2-3 months, we provide a platform for emerging artists to gain exposure and support our vibrant art community.

We welcome submissions year-round and collaborate with select artists to determine the best installation timeframe for both parties. Our criteria for showcasing your work are outlined below, and we kindly ask that you complete the application in full.

While we promote the event throughout various forums in Austin, we have found that the main driver of attendance to a Gallery Reception is driven by the artist's reaching out to their followers. If you would like for us to host a Gallery Reception, we expect you to actively promote the event as best as possible. Also, because we are not charging any commissions and making any money off of the sale of the art, we also ask the artist to be responsible for bringing any snacks and/or beverages they would like to offer during the event. If you are interested in a Gallery Reception, we can discuss the logistics further.

Artist keeps 100% of anything sold. Therefore, you also have the responsibility to pay any sales tax or income tax that may be due upon selling any of your artwork. We will inform you of what has been sold, but it is your responsibility to keep accurate records. *

Because 100% of anything sold goes directly to the artists, we ask clients to pay the artists directly. Therefore, you must have the ability to accept payment via Venmo, Paypal or an equally popular direct consumer payment system. *

Our commitment to the artist

We are one of the most sought-after custom art framing shops in Austin. On a daily basis, we have art collectors, interior designers and individuals who love art come into our shop. It’s a great opportunity to have your artwork be seen.
We will use our various marketing channels and expertise to promote your art show to our existing clients.
We will help any client wanting to make a purchase complete their payment directly to you.
We will inform the Artist of any pieces sold in real time.
Dimensions of the wall are 10ft x 20ft.

Artist requirements

Bring and remove artwork on the agreed upon dates/times.
Provide two-dimensional artwork with wire on the back ready to be hung on hooks.
You must be able to hang the artwork yourself on the day of installation.
Artist may bring a hanging folio folder to offer additional prints.
Please bring professional looking tags with the name of the work and price for each item displayed in our shop. Prints should be individually labelled or have a price marked that’s easy for our sales associate to find.
And most importantly, while your work is on display, promote to your followers, using your social media channels, that your artwork can be seen at our gallery.
